Herniated Disc Treatment for Forest Hills patients

Herniated disc treatment fits people with back pain, sciatica, neck symptoms, or changes in strength after an injury. The work centers on finding what may be causing the symptoms and deciding whether chiropractic care, medical evaluation, or both fit the situation.

This page serves a focused buyer need: knowing when disc symptoms deserve an evaluation. Severe pain, muscle weakness, bowel changes, or bladder changes raise the need for prompt medical review. We document findings and explain the care options before treatment begins.

  • Note when the pain, numbness, or weakness began.
  • Bring relevant medical records and details about the injury.
  • Tell the care team about bowel or bladder changes.
  • Ask how chiropractic care and medical evaluation fit together.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions about care for a herniated disc

When should I seek care for a herniated disc?

Muscle weakness with back pain or sciatica deserves prompt evaluation. Severe pain, bowel changes, or bladder changes need urgent medical attention. Our first visit reviews the symptom pattern, injury history, and possible nerve involvement. Patients should share new or worsening symptoms clearly, because those details help guide the safest care path.

Who provides herniated disc treatment at the clinic?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides herniated disc treatment through medical professionals and chiropractors. Our team reviews your health history and symptoms before discussing care. Treatment may include chiropractic methods, soft tissue therapy, or spinal decompression when appropriate. We explain each option so you understand how it relates to the findings.

What should I bring to my first appointment for Herniated Disc Treatment?

Medical records, injury details, and a list of current symptoms help us assess your condition. Bring information about prior care, medicines, and any imaging you already have. Patients should also note when pain, numbness, or weakness began. That history gives the care team useful context during the new patient intake.

Which part of care changes the price?

The evaluation needs and selected treatment options influence the cost of care. A consultation may involve medical review, chiropractic assessment, records, or treatment planning. Free initial consultations give patients a chance to discuss diagnostic needs and options before deciding on care. We explain the expected services during that discussion.

How is spinal decompression different from an adjustment?

Spinal decompression uses controlled table movement, while an adjustment applies a specific chiropractic force to a joint. The appropriate choice depends on your symptoms, exam findings, and health history. Our team explains whether either method fits your condition. Neither method replaces urgent medical evaluation for bowel or bladder changes.

Why might medical care be combined with chiropractic treatment?

Medical and chiropractic care may be combined when symptoms involve both injury concerns and movement limits. Medical evaluation helps assess possible underlying problems, while chiropractic care addresses musculoskeletal findings. Our team coordinates the plan around your needs. The approach is especially relevant after car accidents, workplace incidents, or falls.

Can I receive care after a workplace injury?

Workplace injury patients can receive an evaluation and help with injury documentation. Our team reviews the event, symptoms, and relevant health history. We can prepare detailed reports for workplace-related injuries. Patients should bring any employer or claim information they have, so the records reflect the injury clearly.
