Why do my balance signals feel wrong after an accident?

Balance signals can change after head movement, neck injury, or inner ear disruption. A medical professional should assess new or worsening dizziness after an accident, especially when symptoms affect walking, focus, or daily tasks. Our team reviews the injury history and related symptoms before discussing care. Individual response differs, and vertigo treatment doesn't replace urgent medical care for severe warning signs.

Vertigo Treatment in Nashville for accident-related dizziness

Vertigo treatment addresses a specific buyer concern: what causes dizziness after an injury, and which type of evaluation fits the symptoms. Our service is for people injured in car accidents, workplace incidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and other personal injury events.

The same symptom can have different causes. Head movement may affect the neck, inner ear changes may affect balance, and vestibular dysfunction may need medical review. We focus on the injury history and the symptoms that follow it, so the next care decision is based on the patient’s needs.

This page differs from general chiropractic care because the starting concern is dizziness or spinning. Our team also considers neck pain, whiplash, headaches, and other musculoskeletal findings that may appear with an accident-related injury.

  • Record when dizziness began and whether head movement changes it.
  • Bring information about the accident, fall, or workplace incident.
  • Tell the care team about neck pain, headaches, or trouble walking.
  • Ask which findings need medical evaluation before chiropractic treatment.

What patients get from our approach to vertigo care

A plan based on your findings

Your symptoms, health history, and injury details shape the care plan. We explain the findings before discussing treatment, and our free initial consultations let you discuss diagnostic needs and options first.

Medical and chiropractic perspectives

Medical professionals and chiropractors review the case together when symptoms involve both body systems. This supports a fuller view of whiplash, neck pain, headaches, and dizziness after an accident.

A clear limit for this service

Vertigo treatment is not the right first step for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms that need urgent medical attention. Our team can assess the situation, but emergency symptoms require emergency care.

A situation this service fits

A person in Nashville develops spinning sensations after a car accident and also reports neck pain. We review the event, symptom pattern, and health history, then explain whether coordinated medical and chiropractic care fits the case.

Process

How our vertigo care moves from symptoms to a plan

1

Describe the injury and symptoms

During the new patient intake, you describe the accident, fall, or workplace event and explain when dizziness began.

2

Review health history and movement

Our medical professionals and chiropractors review your health history and examine movement patterns linked to the reported symptoms.

3

Consider imaging when indicated

X-rays may be considered when clinical findings support imaging as part of the evaluation.

4

Explain the findings and options

We provide a report of findings and explain which treatment options fit the information gathered.

5

Build and review the care plan

We create an individualized treatment plan and use progress re-examination to review how care is addressing the documented concerns.

My fiancé & I was in an accident on 4/16/2024 and since we started treatment at the clinic the staff has been very helpful. They’re very professional, polite& efficient. Dr. Roberts always make sure that she ask us if we’re ok before and after treatment. She also makes sure that we clearly understand the process and answers any question’s or concerns that we may have. I would recommend her to anyone that needs proper treatment after an injury.

Questions patients ask about dizziness and injury care

For Vertigo Treatment, what causes vertigo symptoms after an accident?

Balance signals can change after head movement, neck injury, inner ear changes, or vestibular dysfunction. Our team reviews the accident history and related symptoms before discussing care. Dizziness may occur with whiplash, headaches, or other musculoskeletal injuries. Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms need urgent medical attention, so routine chiropractic care should not delay emergency evaluation.

How does the first consultation address dizziness?

The first consultation reviews your symptoms, health history, injury event, and diagnostic needs. The discussion may cover:

  • When dizziness began
  • Whether head movement changes it
  • Related neck pain, headaches, or balance problems
  • Which treatment options fit the findings

Our care team explains the next step in plain language before treatment begins.

Which records should I bring after a car accident for Vertigo Treatment?

Accident records, prior medical notes, and a list of current symptoms help our team understand the case. Bring imaging reports or other documents you already received, if available. Note when dizziness occurs and whether walking or head movement affects it. We use those details during the health history and exam.

When should dizziness receive urgent medical attention?

Severe or rapidly worsening dizziness needs urgent medical attention. Seek emergency care for serious warning signs such as fainting, sudden weakness, new trouble speaking, or a severe sudden headache. Routine vertigo treatment is not a substitute for emergency assessment. Tell our team about all symptoms during the consultation so we can discuss the safest next step.

Why might chiropractic care be paired with medical evaluation for Vertigo Treatment?

Medical evaluation and chiropractic care address different parts of an injury picture. Medical review considers inner ear and neurological concerns, while chiropractic assessment focuses on musculoskeletal findings such as neck pain or whiplash. Coordinated care helps the team explain which concerns fit each service. Individual response differs, so the plan is based on your findings.

What changes the cost of care for dizziness?

The evaluation needs and treatment plan are the main cost drivers for dizziness care. A case may involve health history review, clinical assessment, imaging when indicated, and follow-up care. Our free initial consultations let you discuss diagnostic needs and treatment options before choosing a plan. Ask which services the proposed care includes.
