Functional Medicine Consultation for Fairview Health Decisions

A functional medicine consultation helps you discuss patterns that may affect how you feel day to day. The work may cover stress management, sleep, nutrition, medical history, and symptoms that need a closer look.

The consultation doesn't replace urgent medical care or every form of primary care. It gives you a structured setting to discuss concerns and decide whether further evaluation, medical care, or coordinated chiropractic treatment fits your needs.

Fairview clients can use this service when they want a broader discussion before choosing a care path. Advanced Injury Care Clinic also treats accident-related conditions, including whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and other musculoskeletal injuries.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and health concerns.
  • Share relevant medical history and current care details.
  • Ask which findings may call for medical evaluation or chiropractic care.
  • Discuss whether nutrition planning, sleep support, or lab testing fits the concern.

Why This Consultation May Fit Your Decision

Start with the health history

Health history gives the consultation a useful starting point, so we can discuss symptoms in context. The first visit isn't the right job for an urgent condition that needs immediate medical attention.

Discuss options in plain language

Clear treatment option explanations help you weigh nutrition, sleep support, lab testing, medical evaluation, and chiropractic care without medical jargon.

Keep the plan individualized

Personalized care plans come from assessments, not a fixed routine. Your symptoms, goals, and existing care shape the discussion.

Dr. Dar’Neshia Roberts and her staff provide top-tier customer service and are super personable, knowledgeable, and always willing to further educate their patients if needed. The team works quickly and efficiently without making you feel rushed, and the clinic is very clean and always smells fresh. While I’m not happy that I got hurt, I’m extremely blessed to have found AIC. This clinic is warm, welcoming, and inclusive, and I truly felt comfortable and respected as a person of color. I highly recommend their services!!!

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions About This Health Consultation

What methods may be discussed for stress management?

Stress management methods may include sleep support, nutrition planning, health history review, and lab testing discussion. Advanced Injury Care Clinic connects these topics to your symptoms and goals. The consultation doesn't promise one fixed method for every person. Individual response differs, so the care team explains which options fit the information reviewed.

For Functional Medicine Consultation, which records should I bring to the consultation?

Medical history records, current medication details, and symptom notes can help the care team understand your concerns. Bring accident or workplace injury documents when they relate to your visit. A list of questions also helps you use the consultation well. The team can then explain which details matter for the next care decision.

How does this differ from a chiropractic visit for Functional Medicine Consultation?

A functional medicine consultation reviews broader health patterns, while a chiropractic visit focuses on musculoskeletal assessment and treatment. Chiropractic care may address whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and related conditions. The care team explains when coordinated medical and chiropractic care fits the concerns you report.

When might lab testing enter the discussion?

Lab testing enters the discussion when symptoms and health history show a reason to consider more information. The care team reviews the clinical context before discussing a test. Testing isn't treated as a routine add-on for every client. Your questions and existing medical care remain part of the decision.

Why might nutrition planning be included?

Nutrition planning may be included when food habits relate to the concerns discussed during the visit. The care team reviews your goals and health history before explaining possible options. Nutrition planning doesn't replace needed medical evaluation. Clients receive a discussion tied to their needs, not a fixed plan for everyone.

Can this consultation replace primary care?

This consultation doesn't replace primary care or urgent medical treatment. It gives you a focused setting to discuss symptoms, health history, and care options. The team can explain when medical evaluation or coordinated care is appropriate. Seek urgent help for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.
