Functional Medicine Consultation for La Vergne patients

A functional medicine consultation gives patients a structured way to discuss symptoms that may not fit one body area. The visit may include health history, current care, nutrition, stress, sleep support, and possible lab testing.

This page serves people who want a broader discussion alongside medical and chiropractic care after an accident or personal injury. The consultation doesn't replace an emergency evaluation or a diagnosis that needs another medical specialist. It helps you decide which concerns deserve further review and which care options fit your needs.

The local decision is about access and fit. Advanced Injury Care Clinic serves La Vergne through its East Nashville and Downtown Nashville locations, so you can ask about the location that suits your care needs.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and concerns.
  • Share relevant medical history and current treatment details.
  • Ask which lab testing or nutrition topics fit your goals.
  • Request a plain-language explanation of each treatment option.
  • Discuss upfront pricing before choosing additional care.

Service Overview

Functional Medicine Consultation is a health review that connects symptoms, history, daily habits, and care goals.

  • Unlike a routine chiropractic adjustment, the consultation looks at wider health factors before discussing a personalized plan.
  • Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides this service for patients from La Vergne through its Nashville locations.

What patients gain from a broader health review

A wider review can connect symptoms that affect more than one body system.

Clear treatment explanations help you compare care options before choosing a plan.

Personalized planning keeps the discussion tied to your health history and goals.

Coordinated medical and chiropractic care can support accident-related injury review.

Patients in La Vergne can ask about care through the clinic's two Nashville locations.

The scope this service is meant to handle

A person in La Vergne with ongoing fatigue, poor sleep, and back or neck symptoms after a car accident may seek a broader review. The consultation starts with health history and symptom details, then discusses whether nutrition, stress, or lab topics deserve attention. It doesn't replace urgent care for severe or worsening symptoms.

What guides a sound care decision

Health history shapes the discussion

Your symptoms, past care, and current concerns guide the questions we ask. The consultation is a poor fit for a medical emergency that needs immediate treatment.

Personalized plans follow assessment

A care plan follows the information gathered during the assessment. It can address chiropractic treatment, medical evaluation, nutrition topics, or other appropriate next steps.

Treatment choices stay understandable

Our team explains each option without heavy medical jargon. You can ask how a recommendation relates to your symptoms before deciding.

Documentation supports injury care

Workplace injury patients can receive help with injury documentation and detailed reports when that service fits the case.

Process

How the consultation moves from concerns to care options

1

Share your health history

The new patient intake records symptoms, past care, current concerns, and relevant medical history.

2

Review symptoms and findings

A medical professional or chiropractor evaluates your concerns and considers how the musculoskeletal and neurological systems may be involved.

3

Discuss testing needs

The care team explains whether diagnostic needs, including X-rays if clinically indicated, belong in the next step.

4

Explore functional care topics

Sleep support, lab testing, nutrition planning, and stress management are discussed when they fit the assessment.

5

Explain the care plan

The report of findings describes treatment options, expected care steps, and upfront pricing before you choose a plan.

6

Track the care response

A progress re-examination checks how your symptoms and function are changing and whether the plan needs adjustment.

Dr. Dar’Neshia Roberts and her staff provide top-tier customer service and are super personable, knowledgeable, and always willing to further educate their patients if needed. The team works quickly and efficiently without making you feel rushed, and the clinic is very clean and always smells fresh. While I’m not happy that I got hurt, I’m extremely blessed to have found AIC. This clinic is warm, welcoming, and inclusive, and I truly felt comfortable and respected as a person of color. I highly recommend their services!!!

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions about functional medicine consultation and injury care

How does the first visit address several symptoms at once?

A health history review organizes symptoms before treatment options are discussed. The care team records your concerns, past injuries, current care, and relevant medical details. That information helps connect back pain, neck pain, headaches, stress, or sleep concerns without assuming one cause. The visit may also identify when another medical evaluation is needed.

Which records should I bring to the consultation for Functional Medicine Consultation?

Current medication details, prior medical records, and accident or workplace injury information can help the review. A written symptom list is also useful, especially when pain, fatigue, headaches, or sleep changes occur together. Bring any reports you already have, but the care team can still begin with your health history and current concerns.

Why might lab testing come up during this discussion?

Lab testing may come up when more health information could clarify the care discussion. The team first reviews symptoms, history, and current treatment before discussing that option. Testing isn't automatic for every patient, and the consultation explains why a test may or may not fit. Results, if available, are considered with the rest of the clinical picture.

When should injury symptoms receive urgent medical attention?

Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms need prompt medical attention. Functional medicine consultation is planned care, not emergency treatment. New weakness, major loss of function, serious breathing trouble, or other urgent warning signs call for immediate medical evaluation. The care team can discuss ongoing concerns after urgent needs receive attention.

What does upfront pricing cover before added care?

Upfront pricing explains the cost of selected care before you approve additional services. The amount depends on the evaluation, diagnostic needs, and treatment options discussed for your case. Free initial consultations let you discuss symptoms and choices first. Ask which services are included before moving forward with a personalized plan.
